Salam buat kengkawan .....
Nak mintak pendapat para sahabat kat sini.

Saya ada la sedikit kebolehan print t shirt. Selain dari ambik order saya juga terfikir untuk buat t shirt ready made untuk pasaran terbuka. Masalahnya saya berkerja dan tiada masa untuk bukak kiosk atau stall.

Saya ada terfikir untuk menjalankan sistem consignment - saya punya pemahaman- macam kita letak kuih-kuih kat acik2 yg jual nasi lemak tuh.....mungkin profit 70-30 kaa...

Nak mintak kawan2 tlg fahamkan saya maksud sebenar sistem consignment tu....risk yg mungkin saya tanggung.......skang blur laaaa...... tolong yeeee......

cari kedai baju dan p letak kat sana..dalam seminggu pi la tgk..bnyk mana yg dah terjual kedai tu bayar la 70% dpd harga jual...menarik gak bisnes ni

well sir .....i think you have a point....what should i do?
the only way that i can think off is quiting current job and put a full concentration towards my business.......

but as i can say.... i tak berani la.......boleh tak u clarify kan what do you mean by this phrase "please don't give peanuts to ur marketeer if not u'll be getting monkeys".

apa yang saya faham adalah - dont trust your marketeer unless you pay him handsomely.

Sebenarnya bukan itu yang saya cuba sampaikan.. Apa yang saya cuba kata di sini ialah, jika ahli anggota pemasaran kita ini tidak mendapat ganjaran yang setimpal, mereka mungkin tidak akan mencuba sedaya upaya untuk memasarkan barangan kita. Ini berlainan sekiranya kita yang memasarkan barangan kita, kerana kita pasti akan meletakkan 110% untuk memastikan barangan kita ini berjaya sampai ke tangan pelangan kita. Lagi pun hanya kita yang mahir dengan produk kita sendiri dan hanya kita yang mampu untuk mengolah dan mencari keserasian dengan pelanggan kita. (maaf banyak sangat ayat "kita". pening gak nak baca )

Try to proof me wrong, tapi saya belum lagi nampak orang berjaya berkerja sebagai part timer. Orang yang berjaya semuanya meletakkan full effort dalam usaha perniagaan mereka. Dan apabila semuanya telah berjaya dan dalam keadaan yang stabil, barulah kita nampak seolah2 mereka bekerja secara part time. Akan tetapi secara realitinya it can never be part time.

oooooo......ok , baru paham. well betul jugak. pada pendapat saya ada bisnes man or women start as part timer and at the end jadi full timer.

sebenarnya saya pun dah rasa agak tired bila jdi part timer ni ....masa tak cukup (tak cukup masa lagi........) . kalut tak menentu .....nak berenti keje bisnes tak strong lagi.....itu la ingat nak try wat bisnes cara consignment tu dulu.

tq ye 7997 for the opininon kalau ada pandangan lagi sila le...tak kisah kalau nak belasah pun....org melayu kena tahan lasak.......

Syabas saya ucapkan pada Lego yang very open minded dalam penerimaan opinion walaupun kadang2 pahit. This is the first step that we must cultivate if we aspire to do well in society, irrespective if we were to be gainfully employed or want to be a master on oneself.

Whether its part-time or full-time business (or for the matter of fact... employment), both had its pro and cons. Time and commitment is always being put into question. Do we have the time and appropriate commitment to undertake our desired tasks? Whilst there are examples of successful part-timers who eventually make it big, there are countless of others who did not have the time to develop their potential. The reverse is also applicable for full-timers.

On the matter of consignment..... it always looks good on paper but in reality it may be a nightmare for producers. 7997 had raised a good point about the commitment of marketeers (aka re-sellers) in promoting your product. At no cost to them, they would only promote items that are in popular demand, hence where is their commitment. It may take you a while to even recoup your capital.

A better option would be to neogiate with prevailing t-shirt suppliers to out-source some of their job order to you. This option allows you to be in control of your time to produce the number of t-shirts as required and getting paid as soon as the goods are being delivered to them. This way you can dwell in your passion of producing good design t-shirts and still be gainfully employed..... that is until you are confident enough to venture into the business full-time.
