Aminvestment Declares Income Distributions For Two Funds

KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 (Bernama) — AmInvestment Bank Group has declared interim income distributions for its two exchange traded funds (ETFs), the FBM30etf and ABF Malaysia Bond Index Fund, for the year ending Dec 31, 2008.
The FBM30etf declared a distribution of 10 sen per unit and the ABF Malaysia Bond Index Fund a distribution of 1.55 sen per unit on July 9, 2008, it said in a statement Friday.
AmInvestment Bank said the FBM30etf’s semi-annual income distribution represented a yield of 1.1 percent investment return based on the net asset value (NAV) per unit of RM9.3416 as at Dec 31, 2007.
For the ABF Malaysia Bond Index Fund, the semi-annual income distribution represented a yield of 1.5 percent investment return based on the NAV per unit of RM1.0487 as at Dec 31, 2007.
The FBM30etf is an equity ETF which aims to achieve a price and yield performance while the ABF Malaysia Bond Index Fund is a fixed income ETF where returns will be expected to correspond closely to the performance of the benchmark index.
